As the philanthropic arm of Monsanto Company, we’re focused on one goal—strengthening both farming communities and the communities where our employees live and work. Monsanto Fund provides funding for food and nutrition, education, and community development projects around the world. The Fund also supports employee programs, which include the Monsanto Fund matching gifts program and United Way of Greater St. Louis annual employee campaign.
During 2017, the Monsanto Fund awarded $20.6 million in grants to more than 2,000 charities and nonprofit organizations globally.

Monsanto Fund is honored to work with quality organizations around the world who are improving lives in our priority giving areas. As expected, there are a few guidelines and rules we follow to ensure maximum program effectiveness.
To be considered for funding, organizations must have IRS 501(c)(3) status or an international equivalent or they must be a unit of government under Section 170(c)(1), such as public schools, libraries, villages and municipalities. All organizations must have been operating for a minimum of two years, and be in compliance with our Non-Discrimination Policy.
